If you already have email in your old 'Inbox' under 'Local Folders' you can move this to your new 'Inbox' as follows:

Open your old 'Inbox'

Select all messages you wish to move (You can select more than one by pressing and holding 'Ctrl' on your keyboard while you select each message)

'Right-click' your mouse and select 'Move To Folder'

In the box that appears select your new 'Inbox' under your new account name (you may need to click the + sign next to your new account to find this)

Click 'OK'

Remember: You can also use this same principle to move from old 'Sent Items' to new 'Sent' folder.
