Active Housing shortlisted for a Housing Innovation Award

We are proud to announce that Active Housing Online Repairs Diagnostics has been shortlisted for the 2017 Housing Innovation Awards in the category of "Most Innovative Housing App / Online Tool".

The Housing Innovation Awards celebrate innovation in the UK housing sector, showcasing the most innovative housing providers, projects, products and companies.

We entered Active Housing Online Repair Diagnostics into the awards as we believe an end-to-end repairs offering is one of the most desirable services for social landlords and their tenants.

The tenant uptake has been phenomenal. After implementing Active Housing, Helena Homes (now Torus) have seen a fifteen times (15x) increase in repairs reported online compared to their previous repairs locator tool. In addition, they’ve had a 66% increase in portal logins.

The 2017 winners will be decided by an independent panel of industry experts and announced at the annual gala dinner on Wednesday February 8th, at Covent Garden's Grand Connaught Room. The 2017 judging panel will consist of:

Eamon McGoldrick - Managing Director, National Federation of ALMOs

Andrew Vandoorn - Deputy Chief Executive, HACT

Valerie Owen OBE - Partner, Le Vaillant Owen Consultancy, Non-Executive Director, Hanover Housing & Chair, Swan Housing Group

Lindsey Richards - Head of Midlands & South, Homes & Communities Agency

John O’Brien - Director of BRE Innovation Park, BRE

Margaret Allen - Associate Director (housing), Savills & Former Exec Director of Programmes, Homes and Communities Agency
