Active Housing shortlisted for a Housing Excellence Award

We are delighted that our Active Housing Online Repairs Diagnostics tool has been shortlisted for the 2017 Housing Excellence Awards in the category of 'Best App / Online Tool'.

Widely recognised as the ‘industry event of the year’, The Housing Excellence Awards is one of the largest awards dinners in the UK housing sector. Attracting 600+ of the sector’s key leaders, the Awards serve to highlight the organisations, individuals and projects that are leading the way in affordable housing.

We entered Active Housing Online Repair Diagnostics into the awards as we believe an end-to-end repairs offering is one of the most desirable digital services for social landlords and their tenants.

The tenant uptake has also been phenomenal. After implementing Active Housing, Helena Homes (now Torus) have seen a fifteen times increase in repairs reported online compared to their previous repairs locator tool.

The 2017 winners will be decided by an independent panel of industry experts and announced by Martin Roberts at the awards dinner on Thursday 25th May, at The Principal Hotel, Manchester.

The 2017 judging panel will consist of:

Eamon McGoldrick - Managing Director, National Federation of ALMOs

Tom Murtha - Chair of Emmaus former Chief Executive of Midland Heart

Phil Morgan - Leading authority on tenant involvement and former Chief Executive of TPAS

Janet Hale - Director of Pilkington-Hale Partnership and former CIH President

Mary-Kathryn Ralling Adams - Deputy Chief Executive, HACT

Mike Brogan - Chief Executive, Procure Plus

Danielle Gillespie - North West General Manager, Homes and Communities Agency

We look forward to a great night with our fellow nominees!
